I would very much like to record my sincerest thanks to Helen Halliday for helping me secure my position with Westaff. After initially declining an offer with Westaff due to a counter offer, after a couple of months I realised what a big mistake I had made and called Helen again. It is a testiment to Helen's professional and friendly personality that I felt comfortable in contacting her again after the previous circumstances. Helen has always been extremely helpful, giving relevant advice and guidance throughout the entire process. Not once have I felt pressurised as is sometimes the case with recruitment consultants.

Helen has succeeded in finding me a placement with a fantastic company, with whom I hope to spend many years. During my difficult resignation process she has gone the extra mile in supporting me with professional information that I have used to help me through my final days.

Helen has always contacted me when she said she would and I have genuinely felt a top priority during this process. Helen really has been an inspiration and  I will carry forward things I have learnt from her in my role as a Permanent Consultant. My only regret is that I have not been able to meet Helen to thank her properly for being a truely outstanding person and consultant.

Dear Sarah

I am writing this letter as a way of thanks to Sarah and her colleagues at Ashley Associates. I was stuck in a position where my company were making lots of promises and failing to fulfil them. My commission was being messed around and I was generally unhappy with recruitment as a whole. I had heard of Ashley Associates previously so thought that it wouldn’t hurt to get in touch and see what they had to offer. I spoke with Sarah, who immediately boosted my confidence and made me feel that I had a lot to offer any prospective employer, something my employer at the time hadn’t done. Rather than sending my CV to numerous companies like some rec2rec’s, Sarah took the time to get to know me, and what company would suit me. I attended one interview through Sarah and that was with Jark Recruitment. I was offered the position the following day and I accepted immediately.

The way Sarah gets to know her candidates and clients, rather than just sending people anywhere is a credit to her, and Ashley Associates, and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I worked as the adviser with Ashley Associates whilst they were working towards the Work-Life Balance Model.

On my first visit I was instantly impressed with the fun, friendly and supportive atmosphere in the office -  staff looked as if they were happy to be there - and it was a Monday!! 

As I started working more closely with them I realised that Ashley Associates genuinely does value its people.  This was demonstrated in so many ways.  People are the very heart of the business, this wasn`t simply going to be a recruitment and retention exercise.  

There was very little work to do to make them ready for the Award.  It was mainly about capturing what they were already doing, so that it became a conscious part of the infrastructure as opposed to a natural unconscious behaviour on the part of senior management.

This organisation is growing fast and I am sure will go from strength to strength.  I have recommended them to clients who are seeking to recruit staff.  If they approach staff recruitment with the same care and sensitivity they offer their own staff, then this is the organisation to use!!
