The Package:
Competitive basic salary 20-22K plus bonus, 5% of GP achieved first year. Holiday entitlement is around 20 days plus many other company incentives.
The Recruitment Opportunity:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join the Industrial division based client in the Northants area.
The main focus of the role is to sell the Company's temporary workforce services to the Industrial sector in the UK.
You will also be required to carry out lead generation, prospecting, identifying client requirements and matching our services to those requirements in a professional manner.
The Recruitment Role:
Generating lists of prospective clients to contact with the view to further developing our existing client base.
Making telephone contact with existing and new prospects.
Identification of the potential of each of those prospect companies.
Organising meetings with the key influencers of those companies with clearly defined objectives.
As required, attending meetings and representing the company in a professional manner at all times. Preparation of professional sales materials as necessary.
Preparation of sales proposal to prospective clients.
Advancing the sales process to close the sale.
Recording all sales activities in a timely and accurate manner.
Reporting to Regional Manager to keep them updated with new sales prospects and results.
The Person Spec:
Our client will consider either those with previous industrial recruitment experience, or someone who is interested in joining the industry. However, experience of cold calling clients to enable new business development is essential.
Key characteristics for the role:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with excellent telephone sales ability.
Able to quickly and efficiently build rapport with key decision makers.
Skilled in negotiation skills.
Good personal presentation.
Capable of thinking creatively.
Solution-focused with a charasmatic manner to create memorable relationships with potential clients.
Passionate, positive and proactive, motivated to make a success of the role and earn a good salary and commission package in return.
